The 2025-2026 Winter Shelter at Shelterhouse (411 Gest Street, 45203) is open. The shelter is open to single individuals experiencing homelessness and runs nightly from 7 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Enter through the Winter Shelter entrance. TRANSPORATION IS AVAILBLE FROM ST. ANTHONY'S CENTER.


Food Pantries and General Assistance in Greater Cincinnati



  • St. Vincent de Paul

    Their website includes a map of parishes who help people who live in that neighborhood. They also have information about diapers, their charitable pharmacy and other seasonal resources. Click HERE to learn more.


  • Community Action Agency

    Posts information about their mobile pantry HERE. They also a utility assistance program. Find out more HERE.


  • The United Way

    Click HERE to access their Food Resources Map which includes Greater Cincinnati, NKY and locations just south of Dayton, Oh.


  • Church of our Savior Food Pantry

  • Campout Cupboard and Closet

    Tuesday and Thursdays from 12p - 2:45p at 2950 Sidney Ave. Bring a photo ID.


  • Corinthian Baptist Church Food Pantry

    Fourth Tuesday of the month at 3p. Located at 1920 Tennessee Ave. Call 513-221-7351 or email Info@CBC-C.com for more information.


  • Church of the Advent Food Pantry

    Wednesdays 9:30 am - 12p at 2366 Kemper Lane, Walnut Hills: (513) 961-2100


  • The Healing Center Food Pantry (Vineyard Cincinnati)

    Shop every other week as a guest in The Marketplace. Open during regular serving hours on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday mornings of 9 am to 11 am or Thursday evenings from 6:30 pm to 8 pm. If you have never been before click HERE.


  • LIFE - Loveland Food Pantry

  • CAIN Rainbow Choice Food Pantry

Winter Coats and/or Clothing


  • St. Vincent de Paul

    Coat vouchers can be picked up at Neyer Outreach Center, located at 1146 Bank St., Cincinnati, Ohio 45214. The voucher is good for use at any St. Vincent de Paul store.

     

    Additionally, there will be a coat distribution event on January 31 from 12-3 PM at their Liz Carter Center, (1125 Bank St., Cincinnati, Ohio 45214). They have a large quantity of children's coats.

     

    Eligibility: open to residents of Hamilton County, must bring photo ID and proof of household members, can only receive one coat from SVDP this winter (from either a voucher or a distribution event)
