GCBHS VP Honored as Xavier University Adjunct Professor of the Year


The award was presented to Nikki by Dr. Colleen M. Hanycz (above left), President of Xavier University. Dr. Hanycz has been serving as president since July 2021 and is the first woman to hold this position at the University.

Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services' Senior VP of Behavioral Health in Hamilton County, Nikki Bisig, has been selected as Xavier University's Adjunct Professor of the Year. Bisig was one of three professors honored during the Celebration of Colleagues event on May 7th in the Cintas Center at Xavier University. Nikki (far right) was recognized for her years of service and profound impact on students as well as her dedication and expertise in the field.


Bisig joined #GCBHS in 1999. She graduated from Xavier University in 2001 with a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling. Since 2011, she has been teaching in Xavier's Masters of Arts Counseling Program, with a focus on treating addictive disorders. Her contributions to the program have helped shape the next generation of counselors.
