For the 22nd year, the Clermont County Mental Health & Recovery Board will be holding its annual candlelight vigil to recognize lives lost to suicide. The event is also a way for survivors to connect about the loss they feel, and an opportunity for those struggling with mental illness to know they are not alone and that help is available.
The vigil will be held this Thursday, September 7th at 6:30 p.m. in Sycamore Park on State Route 132 in Batavia.
If you would like to have a candle lit in honor of a loved one, you can email:
If you cannot attend in person the event will also be streamed on the Clermont County Mental Health & Recovery Board's Facebook page.
The event is held every September by the Clermont County Suicide Prevention Coalition as a part of Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. If you would like to know more about the Coalition's work and how you can help, click HERE.
