Vice President of Employment & Recovery Services

Alicia Fine

Alicia joined GCB in 2011. As Vice President of Employment & Recovery Services, she leads the organization’s employment programs, social and recreational activity programs, and housing, residential and benefits management services. She began her career in mental health with a residential hospitalization program in 1993, and then became an Employment Specialist at Eastway Behavioral Healthcare, a program focused on helping people with mental illness obtain and retain employment based on their strengths, skills, and preferences. After working for several years as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for the Ohio Rehabilitation Services Commission, she moved into a leadership role managing a team of counselors, training new rehabilitation counselors, facilitating consumer empowerment training, and working statewide to review and revise policy. Alicia has a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. Her experience as a counselor has been focused in rehabilitation counseling: a comprehensive, holistic approach toward assisting people to be a positive part of their communities through successful employment. The idea of employment as a key part of the recovery process is at the foundation of everything Alicia does.
