Vocational Programs: A Key to Sustained Recovery
Getting a job is often one of the most important life events of a person with a severe mental illness because it represents an opportunity for that individual to have a quality life. GCB has a number of employment programs that help clients choose, get, and a keep a job of their choice in the community or in one of GCB’s many commercial contracts. Additional support services include benefits planning, transportation assistance, and job clubs. GCB has specialized employment programs for ex-offenders with severe mental illness and for people with developmental disabilities. All employment programs are modeled after nationally established and researched best practices and include peer support. |
